Playing Naija Life with friends: chat, visits and convoys

The city is full of real people

Meet friends at the club, or message them from your phone.

Naija Life is not a single-player game with a chat box bolted on. Everyone who signs in lives in the same city, and most of the best things in it are done with other people: gisting in a room, visiting a friend's new duplex, rolling out in a convoy, sending money to someone who is short on rent, or marrying them. This guide covers every way to play with friends.

Chat rooms and direct messages

Every place in the city has its own room, so the people you see on the street are people you can talk to. For anything private, open Messages on your phone:

Messages that fail to send say so and can be retried with a tap, and an unread badge on the Phone tab tells you someone has written. Players who abuse chat can be reported; enough reports and they are muted.

Your @handle and public page

Usernames are not unique — there are dozens of players called Mimi — so every player also has an @handle that is theirs alone. Use it to find people, to send money to the right person, and when you contact support. You can change yours once for free in Settings, then once every 30 days.

Your handle also gives you a page on the web at naijalifegame.ng/u/yourhandle showing your job, your home, your car and your place on the Rich List. Share it with a friend and they can join with your invite code in one tap.

Visits and convoys

Sending money

Open Bank and choose Send to a player, or tap Send money on someone's card. You can send up to ₦1,000,000 a day, and a player can receive up to ₦1,500,000 a day. Money you are sent is collected into your wallet on its own, and every naira in and out shows in the Bank's account history.

Spraying is the louder version: spray a player at a party and the city notices — the biggest sprayer of the week wins the Odogwu award, as the awards guide explains.

The invite ladder

Every player has an invite code. When a new player joins on yours within their first week and gets going in the game, they get ₦3,000 and you get ₦5,000, for up to 20 friends. On top of that, the ladder:

Friends playingReward
3⭐ Connector badge + ₦25,000
5🚙 The Owambe Gold Jeep — a car nobody can buy
10👑 Big Connector badge + ₦250,000

Badges show next to your name in chat and on the Rich List.

Playing against each other

Friendship has a competitive side: the daily contests put real players against each other for a pot, and you can dare a friend to beat your score with a link. The Rich List ranks everyone by net worth, and City vs City ranks the three cities against each other.

Questions people ask

How do I find a friend in Naija Life?

Search for their username or their @handle in Messages. Every player has a unique @handle, so two players with the same name are never mixed up.
