Married in Naija Life? How to move in together and share a home

Two players, one roof

Our place: one home, two players.

Getting married to another player in Naija Life used to mean two homes and a lot of visiting. Now married couples can live together. One of you invites the other to move in, and from then on you share one home: both of you see each other there, and both of you can arrange the furniture.

How to move in together

  1. Get married to another player first — the marriage guide covers the proposal, the ring and the wedding.
  2. Open the Family app. On the Live together card, invite your spouse to move into your place.
  3. Your spouse accepts in their own Family app.
  4. They now have a Go to our place button on their Home tab, and you will see each other in the home.

Who owns what?

Either partner can rearrange the living room.

Moving out

Either of you can leave the shared home from the Family app at any time, and a divorce ends it too. Both of you still have your own homes, so nobody ends up on the street.

Bigger home, bigger family

A shared home is where children grow up too. If you are planning a family, you need room for it: see housing, building your own house and adoption.
