Naija Life keeps running in your head even when the app is shut: Did I pay rent? Is my Sim starving? The Your Sim widget answers that from your home screen. It works on Android and on iPhone.
What the widget shows

Tap it and Naija Life opens where you left off. It updates as you play, so after a shift or a purchase it is already current.
Adding it on Android
- Open Naija Life and open the menu with the pause button.
- Tap Add to home screen. Most phones then ask where to put it.
- If your launcher does not ask, long-press an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find Naija Life and drag Your Sim onto the screen.
Adding it on iPhone and iPad
- Long-press an empty spot on your home screen until the icons jiggle.
- Tap + (or Edit → Add Widget) and search Naija Life.
- Pick the small or the medium size and tap Add Widget.
The widget needs iOS 16.1 or later. Get Naija Life on iPhone if you have not yet.
Live Activities: trips on the Lock Screen
On iPhone, a trip across the city or between cities shows as a Live Activity. The Lock Screen shows where you are going and how many game minutes are left. On iPhones with a Dynamic Island, the same countdown sits around the camera while you use other apps.
Game time only runs while Naija Life is open. When you leave the app mid-trip, the Live Activity says Paused until you come back. Nobody finishes a journey for you while you are away.
